The Wrangler offers the undiluted Jeep experience. The shape is a throwback to the original Willys and form follows function; a removable roof and detachable doors are part of the kit. The Wrangler’s 268hp, 2.0-litre petrol engine is smooth and surprisingly punchy, while the 8-speed gearbox is pleasant. Ride quality is a bit lumpy on tarmac but off-road.
