Beginning Tuesday, Canada will accept international travellers who have received all the vaccinations recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) including Covaxin. Bharat Biotech, a Hyderabad-based company, developed Covaxin on November 19, which will benefit many Indian travelers.

The financial markets rang an alarm bell on Tuesday after Moderna's CEO said that the Omicron version of the Covid-19 vaccine is unlikely to be as effective as the Delta version. Moderna CEO Bancel told the Financial Times, "I believe there is no world where (effectiveness) is the same as we had with Delta."
