According to reports, three people were injured in the crash landing of an Indian Army ALH Dhruv helicopter on Thursday in the Kishtwar area of Jammu and Kashmir, including the pilot, co-pilot, and a technician. According to officials, the helicopter crash-landed at Machna on Thursday between the Marwah and Dachhan districts of the Kishtwar district.

"As per inputs, the pilots had reported a technical fault to the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) and proceeded for a precautionary landing. Due to the undulating ground, undergrowth and unprepared landing area, the helicopter apparently made a hard landing" Jammu-based defence spokesperson Lt Col Devender Anand said.

Army rescue teams arrived at the scene after immediate rescue operations were initiated.
