With more than 30k followers on Instagram she is ruling the social media platform with utmost fashion. Simran is inspired by Komal Pandey and looks upto her for in every aspect. She has also been featured in popular lifestyle magazines like Popxo and Cosmopolitan.
Tell us a little about your journey?
I am a data analyst turned stylist and now living my dream as a content creator. I have been creating content for the past 2 years now and loving every bit of it. I am loving the whole process of ideation, research, creating, editing and post- production. Not going to lie, I was a completely new person to all of this but I have learned everything in this journey. There's still a long way to go but I believe I will make it happen and make beautiful memories on this journey.
Did you always want to become an influencer?
Honestly, I didn't even know what exactly it is and how this industry works. I just started posting my outfit pictures every day which I used to click while at work and started getting brand collaborations. I didn't stop since then.
How has Instagram helped you in your journey?
I started everything from Instagram only. I got recognition for my outfits through Instagram and a lot of brands like Popxo, Cosmopolitan started covering my outfit pictures and videos.
How has your content evolved over the years?
I started with only Statics and wasn’t very comfortable with making videos, but now I make mostly video content which is more engaging and appealing.
Do you have any idols in the industry?
Yes, I love Komal Pandey. What she is today and her journey of becoming that is inspiring.
Tell us about your greatest achievement?
My greatest achievement is to change my domain and follow my passion. I never thought I will be able to do it with my full- time jobs, but here I am fulfilling all my dreams.
How did your parents support you in this journey?
Honestly, they didn't support me a lot initially but never stopped me too. They were always like do whatever you want to but don't leave your job and I didn't. I just kept posting consistently and my profile started growing.
Are you a coffee person or a tea lover?
Tea over everything!
A message you'd like to give out to all the readers?
Don't do it if you see everyone doing it, it should always come from within, or you will get bored of it. And whatever you do, do it with all your heart.
