Lakes in Argentina turn Pink

|THE DEN|

In Patagonia, Argentina, two lakes turn fluorescent pink in colour. While the cause for the same is unknown, which could be completely natural, environmentalists are speculating industrial contamination of water.

The lakes are located near an industrial park on the outskirts of the Argentine city of Trelew, sprawling across a dusty, desert-like plain and are largely undeveloped.

It could be another wonder of nature like 'Lake Hillier' in Australia or 'The Dutsy Road Lake' in Canada or unfortunately, it could be what the environmentalists have been ranting about.

But, whatever it is, if India gets a pink lake, we can easily assume thousands flocking from the Capital to take a look, which is easily presumable considering the flocking in hill stations.
