The MG Astor is a great car in its budget. At under 20 lakhs, the top model of the car offers great kit and tech features. It gets ADAS, blind-spot monitoring, curtain and side airbags and a slew of gimmicky AI features that does make it an interesting drive altogether. The car also has a great build quality and feels confident under heavy acceleration, all in all even the design of the car is appealing and the LED lights have a great throw.
Even after all the features in the top model, the base model still feels very value for money.
The base model gets almost all safety features standard such as rear-disc brakes, dual airbags, ABS, EBD and hill stop assist as standard. The car also gets a 10.1-inch touch screen, reverse parking sensors, rear wiper, rear defogger as standard. Android Auto and Apple Carplay are also on offer. We recommend the base model if you have budget constraints or just want a simple, comfortable and safe compact SUV that does the job. At under 10 lakhs, not only does it do the job well, but does it within a budget.
