Tomatoes to be sold at Rs 70/kg; Nirmala Sitharaman in parliament

Tomatoes will be sold in Delhi-NCR for 70 rupees per kg, according to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, as prices continue to rise. She stated that this weekend, tomatoes will be sold in Delhi-NCR at a discounted price through the National Cooperative Consumers' Federation of India Limited (NCCF), adding that tomatoes are being purchased from Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka for distribution through cooperative societies like NCCF and NAFED.
