Welcome to the concept episode of Top 10 for 50.

January’s Choice - Harshita Malhotra

Harshita Malhotra is a car lover and reviews cars for car garage. For her, luxury means extra ordinary comfort and fascinating features which not every car can offer. She always tries to seek that one special creature comfort which can make the car luxurious, special and beyond imagination.

Audi A8L Security

50,00,00,000 - 12,00,00,000 =38,00,00,000

Travel in style, with an armoured A8 limo.

If you had 50 crores to spend on cars, we assume you’d want at least one safe vehicle to do your everyday duties. The 2020 Audi A8L security is the perfect car to do that. In Russia, Audi unveiled the armoured version of its new A8 L luxury limousine. The new A8 L Security provides VR10 ballistics protection and is equipped with a variety of safety and security features to keep occupants safe.

The A8 L Security resembles the ordinary A8 in appearance. Only the thick black outlining of the windows and the additional blue LED strobe lights – found in areas like the grille and rear windscreen – distinguish it as the armoured brother. The layers of armour created from a blend of high-strength steel and a unique aluminium alloy sit behind the body shell. To deflect missiles, the glass is also multi-layered.

The cabin has all of the luxury and comfort that one would expect from an A8, with the addition of security hardware. An intercom system with speakers lets occupants to communicate with those outside the car, a fire suppression system with nozzles situated under the body, and an emergency evacuation system that allows occupants to blast the door hinges if the doors become jammed. An emergency fresh air system, which gives passengers with a limited amount of fresh air if the circumstance requires it, is also included in the safety measures. Individual door unlocking is also available on the A8 L Security, which can be controlled via the car's infotainment system.

The 4.0-litre turbo-charged V8 engine, which is the same as in the S8, produces 571hp and 800Nm of torque. Quattro all-wheel drive is standard, as is an 8-speed automatic transmission. Despite its weight, Audi promises that the armoured sedan would accelerate from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in under 6.3 seconds.

Ferrari 812

38,00,00,000 - 05,75,00,000 =32,25,00,000

A Ferrari that will set the road on fire.

It’s tempting to believe that considerable expertise is no longer required to drive a new Ferrari, but this evaluation of the 2021 Ferrari 812 GTS swiftly disproves that concept. To the uninitiated, Ferrari’s V-12-powered drop-top GT is a terrifying car, but once you figure out its enigmatic ways, it becomes the ideal driving companion a well-heeled car aficionado could wish for.

The extremely powerful V-12 blasts through the curves at supersonic speeds, screaming its 8,900- rpm tune. Its V-12 engine is a critically endangered species, generating 789 horsepower from a 6.5-liter V-12 engine with no supercharging, turbocharging, or electric charging.

The 812 Superfast and GTS are available in a single spec that includes carbon-ceramic brake rotors, 20- inch wheels, and an aromatic leather inside. Of course, buyers may choose from a variety of paint colours, interior trims, and wheel shapes, but that’s about it for customization.

The cabin of the 812 has seating for two people, is quite big, has decent ergonomics, and is modern in style. Ferrari removed the traditional steering-wheel stalks and replaced them with push-button controls for the wipers and turn signals on the spokes, allowing drivers to embrace the 812’s grand-touring essence and keep their hands on the wheel at all times.

Mercedes-Benz AMG GT

32,25,00,000 - 2,66,00,000 =29,59,00,000

The devil incarnate.

The 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT’s beautiful bodywork will undoubtedly catch your eye, but it’s more than just a pretty face. The GT is a high-performance sports automobile with a low and wide profile. This is Mercedes’ front-engine response to Porsche’s rear- engine 911. At a price of 2.66 crores ex-showroom this is definitely a car that will be a jewel in a collection worth 50 crores.

The hand-built engine in every Mercedes-AMG GT has a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, but the output level varies depending on the model you choose. The base GT, which comes standard with adaptive dampers and a limited- slip rear differential, delivers 523 horsepower. The new Black Series takes over as the ultimate GT coupe, effectively being a street-legal race car. It boasts a flat- plane-crank version of AMG’s twin-turbo V-8 that produces 720 horsepower, as well as more lightweight materials and a slew of track-focused tweaks.

Mercedes provides excellent build quality on the inside, and the materials are commensurate with the GT’s high selling price. The cabin is cramped, but the driving position is ideal, with capacitive-touch controls for the car’s numerous performance options conveniently located on the centre console. Also impressive is the 12.3-inch completely digital gauge cluster.

With the 2021 upgrade, the Mercedes GT's estimated acceleration times and top speeds have been increased, with a stated 0-100 time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 194 mph for the coupe and 193 mph for the roadster. This will definitely feel like an everyday racecar as you zoom past everyone.

M760Li xDrive

29,59,00,000 - 02,46,00,000 =27,13,00,000

The definition of a luxury car.

The M760i is a car that combines the best of both worlds. It’s fantastic for both the driver and the passengers. The M760i’s 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 is a joy to drive, and it’s also a dying art. It’s as smooth as the leather inside, the nose rising ever so slightly with a throttle stroke, effortlessly driving this 5,100-pound machine down the road.

The V12 also sounds angrier, emitting small burps from the exhaust as the head-up display blinks to remind you that there are still speed limits in place. For a car of its size, the M760i is surprisingly well- balanced. The fact that this is a 17-foot-three-inch-long car with a 126-inch wheelbase is unavoidable, but the so-called “Carbon Core” chassis, which isn’t entirely made of carbon fibre, but makes extensive use of the lightweight material, provides a rigidity you can feel from behind the wheel while keeping the weight down.

The 7 Series’ entire interior is simply pleasant, especially when it’s completely equipped with all of the fun-and-fancy options offered on the option sheet. The luxury rear seating package, which includes heated, ventilated, and massage back seats as well as a seven- inch Samsung-sourced tablet to control it all, makes the back seats officially better than the front.

Whether you’re in the pilot’s seat or one of the VIP thrones in the back, the M760i excels as a road-going Gulfstream. This would be the ideal automobile to cross a continent in if there were no speed limits, kicking back and listening to the outstanding sound while letting the excellent seat massagers do their thing.

Bentley Flying Spur

27,13,00,000 - 03,41,00,000 =23,72,00,000

A palace on wheels.

With 50 crores to spend, a Bentley is a must in your garage. The name Bentley has long been associated with elegant, chauffeur-driven limousines. To increase the car’s performance, the Flying Spurs come standard with a 626- hp twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W-12, an eight-speed dual- clutch automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, rear-wheel steering, and electronically controlled anti-roll bars.

From the minute the rear door is pulled open for you, riding in a Flying Spur is a unique experience. As you slide into the back seat, the leathery aroma wafts across the air, luring you in. The two power-operated buckets in the back recline and provide soothing massages. Audio, navigation, seat heating and ventilation, rear-seat massage, electric side-window shades, and moonroof close-outs are all controlled by an iPhone-like gadget in the rear centre console.

The first thing you notice about the Flying Spur is how underdressed it makes you feel. The interior is unique, and the paint gleams and sparkles. With the luxury materials all around, the top of the instrument panel is covered in a single piece of leather, and the centre clock fits in well.

The interior of the Flying Spur is lined with plush leather, authentic wood trim, and true metal accents. There’s plenty of room for people to stretch out and enjoy the sumptuous surroundings, whether in the front or back. Bentley’s interior designers were able to maintain the brand’s prim and correct appearance while introducing cutting-edge technology.

Porsche Panamera

23,72,00,000 -2,70,00,000 =21,02,00,000

Something fun for the family getaway

If your heart wants a fast moving, quick sedan to do your family duties, look no further. The Panamera has a very sporty frame underneath its stylish four- door suit, with a choice of V6 or V8 petrol engines and rear or four-wheel drive. Plug-in hybrid vehicles are also available if you want to save money on gas, get around quickly, or do both.

Even the slowest variant runs 0-100kmph in the mid-five second range, but with the correct engine, it's feasible to shave a couple of seconds off that time. The Panamera, of course, isn't just about straight-line speed; it's also one of the most nimble large luxury cars on the market. A wide range of options, such as adaptive air suspension with active anti-roll bars, four-wheel steering, and carbon- ceramic brakes, can improve agility even further.

The driver’s seat is really comfortable. The Panamera’s pedals and steering wheel are well-aligned, and the low- slung seat gives it a true sports car feel. It’s a really comfy place to be once you’ve adjusted the electrically adjustable steering wheel and seat to your satisfaction. For safe night driving, powerful LED headlights are also standard. Many of the Panamera’s controls are housed on a touch-sensitive display on the centre console, rather than physical buttons.

Front-seat passengers will have no qualms about spaciousness, with plenty of head and leg room for anybody over six feet tall. There is also adequate room in the back seat for the passengers, which is a surprising amount. While there are only two back seats, they provide more head and leg room than the competitors and are suited for tall people.

Lexus LX

21,02,00,000 - 2,32,00,000 =18,70,00,000

A behemoth SUV with an imposing stance.

The 2021 Lexus LX is one of the few vehicles capable of tackling off-road routes during the day and pulling up to red carpet events at night. It shares its foundation and technical components with the Toyota Land Cruiser, so its all-terrain credentials are genuine, but it’s dressed up to transport you around town in a finely tailored tuxedo.

The LX takes massive gulps of air to fuel the 383-hp 5.7-liter V-8 under the hood, which is anything from quiet. When you slam on the gas, the LX gathers itself with a tremendous whoosh before sprinting from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in 7.2 seconds. This might seem slow for a car of its price, but it’s decent enough for a car of its SIZE!

The LX has a massive presence, but it doesn’t always equate to a magnificent ballroom-style interior. Every row of sitting is tolerable, despite the fact that none of them has a lot of space. The 12.3-inch infotainment screen that sits atop the dashboard is the focus of the LX cabin. The cabin’s incredibly soft leather, actual metal accents, and splashes of glossy wood complete the look.

On the three-row variant, a new Sport option adds unique external style, 21-inch wheels, and other features. The Lexus rides as comfortably as comparable luxury off-roaders like the Land Rover Range Rover. Cabin accommodations are comparable to, if not superior than, hotel accommodations, and the cabin’s overall fit and finish is excellent.

Land Rover Range Rover SVR

18,70,00,000 - 2,19,00,000 =16,51,00,000

Do you enjoy driving? Then this is the SUV for you.

An exciting SUV to it’s core, the SVR is all you could ask for given to you with a little extra. To pull this off, you’ll need a lot of brand cachet and confidence. This is a Range Rover Sport with 542bhp and we don’t know how else to say this but it is absolutely manic.

The SVR has been designed by Special Vehicle Operations at JLR headquarters to be the most powerful Land Rover in the company's history. The car's supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine produces 542bhp, and the extra power is accompanied by a slew of mechanical and kinetic improvements. Although this is still a large SUV, given the global demand for luxury and performance 4x4s, it was an unavoidable product from Land Rover.

A conventional eight-speed automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels – 21-inch rims are standard, with a 22-inch design available as an option. In terms of performance, the increased power reduces the 0-100kmph time to 4.3 seconds.

Engineers also tweaked the suspension settings, particularly the damping, to control pitch under hard acceleration and braking, as well as claims of improved turn-in, body control, and mid-corner grip. All Range Rover Sport models now include the brand’s Touch Pro Duo pair of 10inch touchscreens in the centre console, just like the newly redesigned full-size Range Rover.

Rolls Royce Cullinan

16,51,00,000 - 6,95,00,000 =9,56,00,000

A mafia SUV that offers unmatched luxury.

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan drives with utmost tranquillity and indulges everyone aboard, as one would expect of an ultra-expensive SUV. This six-crore-rupee people mover is propelled by a powerful and smooth V-12 engine. It is powered by a twin-turbo V-12 making 563 horsepower (592 in the Black Badge version). An eight-speed automatic transmission still handles gearchanges and routes power to the standard all-wheel-drive system.

Box-grain leather, lambswool carpeting, gorgeous wood trim, and milled-aluminum accents adorn the capacious cabin. Rolls-Royce will modify practically every area of the Cullinan’s already luxurious interior with any delights you can think if you want an even greater level of luxury.

The exterior is typical Rolls-Royce, but the vehicle’s liftgate configuration allowed the company to add an optional Viewing Suite to the cargo compartment, which consists of two leather- wrapped seats and a tiny table that pops out of the floor. This is without a doubt the most opulent way to watch a polo match at a country estate.

Every Cullinan comes equipped with a big touchscreen infotainment system and a backup controller in the centre console. Every model also comes with Apple CarPlay. In addition to a Wi-Fi hotspot, the Cullinan includes a custom audio system with 18 speakers. We think that in your 50 crore car collection this will be one of the most priced possessions.

Rolls Royce Phantom

9,56,00,000 - 9,60,00,000 =0

A business class suite on wheels.

A royal-themed interior can have its own custom- artwork dash. The cabin is covered in acres of wood, actual metal accents, and large swaths of velvety leather. The Phantom is available in both a conventional and a long-wheelbase variant, with the latter gaining 8.6 inches in length, which translates to more rear-seat legroom.

Coach doors open from the back, allowing for beautiful and dramatic arrivals and departures. Deep-pile carpeted floor mats, power-adjustable seats with massage, a chilled console compartment, and remote controls for the infotainment system are among the amenities available to rear-seat passengers.

Largesse and largeness, as easily confused as those words are on a Scrabble board, they are rarely applied to a new car as faithfully as they are to the Rolls Royce Phantom.

A silky smooth 563-hp twin-turbo V-12 combined with an eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive delivers massive power. The car accelerates quickly, but the 5.1- second zero-to-100 time promised by Rolls-Royce isn't something you'd want your chauffeur to try to match. The Phantom is more suited to wafting while making fine throttle and steering movements.
