The prices will be ex-showroom assuming discount achieved in lieu of taxation and models allowed to be only top end. It is for the ultra rich, and the rule always is to go for the top end. Welcome to the concept episode of Top 10 for 50.

December’s Choice - Syed Aamir Hussain

Syed Aamir Hussain is a Car enthusiast who loves and care for every detail about a car, he is pursuing law and reviews cars for Car Garage. He has exquisite knowledge and taste in cars.

With 50 crores to burn, lets see what he chooses and what does the car entail.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class S Guard

Ten crores ninety eight lakhs

50,00,00,000 - 10,98,00,000 = 39,02,00,000

Fend off bullets from the comfort of your S-Class

The S-Class name is synonymous with luxury. It’s as good as it can get for a Mercedes and this car competes with cars that are a segment above in its normal spec, but being an S-guard, nothing can even come close. It gets the road presence of an S-Class, the comfort of a limousine, and the safety of a TANK !

With a kerb weight of 4.16 tonnes, it’s twice as heavy as a conventional S-class. Steel strengthened axles and custom-made air suspension are used to deal with the extra weight.

The Michelin PAX run-flat tyres used in this car have a special rim that supports the central rib, allowing the car to be driven for 30 kilometres on deflated tyres.

Each door weighs up at 140 kg, and the thicker windows are constructed of five layers of glass that are protected from splitting by polycarbonate. Apart from features like an underbody fire extinguisher and a bevvy of items to keep you alive in an uncomfortable situation, the rest of the cabin appears like any other S-class.

This car’s dimensions are L×B×H 5246 mm× 1899 mm× 1494 mm and it is powered by a 5980cc V12 engine with 523 bhp and 829 Nm torque. This heavy beast might not feel like a

supercar but will definitely outlast a supercar.

For a passenger though, the car is ultra comfortable and the interior is as luxurious as they come. Plus, the ride quality is brilliant and, of course, it comes with a multitude of special

features, massaging seats and champagne cooler will be included as well.

Rolls Royce Ghost

Seven crores and ninety five lakhs

39,02,00,000 - 7,95,00,000 = 31,07,00,000

The pinnacle of luxury

The ownership of Rolls-Royce is a bold statement. It implies that you are not just wealthy, but also that you are uncompromising. The Ghost is no exception; it comes equipped with all of the bells and whistles you could want and more.

The Ghost 2022 gets a Black Badge variant, which sports darkened exterior trimmings, hand- polished and high-gloss paintwork, black wood interior trim, a slightly more powerful 592-hp version of the 6.7-liter V-12 engine

The Ghost, even though it is an entry level model for Rolls Royce still be out of reach of most new-car buyers. The list of standard and optional equipment is extremely long, but Rolls-Royce offers a seemingly endless list of additional features and customizations, based on the amount of money you can actually spend.

The Ghost is capable of hitting 100 kmph in just 4.6 seconds. It is powered by the same V-12 that powers the Cullinan SUV so even a car of its size wafts along the road pretty well due to the strong engine and enough power to offer.

Ghost offers better driving dynamics than the last model, pointing to the all-wheel-steering system and 50/50 weight distribution as evidence that driving satisfaction played a

significant role in the car’s development.

With 5,546 mm L x 2,148 mm W x 1,571 mm H this is no normal sedan, it is a car of massive size and it’s size is truly felt on the road. If you go for this car be prepared to stand out from

everyone else.

Rolls Royce Wraith

Seven crores and fifty lakhs

31,07,00,000 - 7,50,00,000 = 23,57,00,000

This cars comes in at 7.22 Cr but we’ve left 28 lakhs aside to customise the tiniest things. Although you won’t be able to choose more than two options for your car in this budget, but

something is better than nothing.

A land yacht in its truest sense.

This is the second Rolls on our list, but when you have 50 crores to spend, why wouldn’t you buy 2 of the finest cars ever made? The 2021 Rolls-Royce Wraith is aimed at the ultra-rich

and offers the ultimate in luxury and comfort.

The Rolls Royce Wraith upholds the luxury carmaker’s greatest hand-crafted heritage. The 624- hp V-12 engine, rear- hinged doors, and distinctive Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament

are standard on all models of this radically sculpted coupe. Buyers can also modify their Wraiths in a variety of ways, turning them into commissioned works of art.

The front-row seats are adjustable in eight different ways, and every seat in the interior is heated. Dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a

power- adjustable steering column are standard on all models. The Wraith is equipped with an 18- speaker audio and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

The four-seat Rolls-Royce Wraith coupe has a bucket seat in each corner. The cabin combines old world workmanship with contemporary elements. A pair of elegant circular air vents decorate the centre stack, and the front seats include a massaging feature that can help relieve aching muscles on lengthy rides.

Although the Wraith seems to be a hatchback, it has a standard saloon vehicle boot door that opens to a small opening that leads to a surprisingly large cargo compartment. The 470-litre

capacity should be more than adequate for a long road trip.

Despite being marketed as the most sporty Rolls-Royce, the Wraith’s interior is unrivalled in terms of wood quality, leather softness, and carpet depth.

Ferrari 812 Superfast/GTS

Five crores and twenty lakhs

23,57,00,000 - 5,20,00,000 = 18,37,00,000

A rocket on the road.

A naturally aspirated V-12 with 789 horsepower is positioned in the front of the automobile. The engine is only supplying torque to the back wheels. These figures appear to be too

fantastic to be true, don’t they? These are the specifications for the 812 Superfast coupe and the 812 GTS retractable hardtop.

A convertible version of the 812 is now available. The droptop, dubbed the GTS, shares many features with the coupe, including a naturally aspirated V-12 engine, a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, and a top speed of 211 mph. So, even if it’s not in the name, you can rest assured that it’s quick.

The 812 Superfast and GTS are available in a single spec that includes carbon-ceramic brake rotors, 20-inch wheels, and an aromatic leather inside. Of course, buyers can choose from a

variety of paint colours, interior accents, and wheel designs.

4,657 mm L x 1,971 mm W x 1,276 mm H. With these dimensions, we can see that the 812 is no small car but it still seems to deliver the performance and has the capabilities to beat most cars on the road. If you have 50 crores to spend, this car HAS to be on the list.

The F140 GA V12 engine in the 812 Superfast is a larger version of the 6.3-litre engine found in the F12berlinetta. It has a power output of 800 PS (588 kW; 789 hp) at 8,500 rpm and a

torque output of 718 Nm (530 lbft) at 7,000 rpm.

Because the power steering is now electric, Ferrari has been able to add a few tricks to it. For example, it can now communicate with the onboard traction and stability systems and adjust steering torque in corners. It’s also linked to a new four-wheel-steering system that’s identical to the F12tdf’s.

Aston Martin DB 11

Four crores and twenty lakhs

18,37,00,000 - 4,20,00,000 = 14,17,00,000

The bond car for your everyday duties.

The Aston Martin DB11 straddles the border between a sports car and a grand tourer. Wherever it goes, its long, low, and wide body attracts attention.

This rear-drive-only Aston Martin comes with a massive 630-hp twin-turbo V-12, but it’s only available in coupe variants, comes at a hefty premium, and can overwhelm the back tyres.

The basic 528-hp twin-turbo V-8 isn’t quite as impressive, but it’s still a blast to drive. Both engines, when paired with an eight-speed automatic, produce exciting soundtracks and

raucous acceleration, allowing this car to go from comfortable to rambunctious.

The DB11 also comes with Aston’s Sports Plus seats, which have more bolstering to keep occupants safer during spirited driving. Buyers can customise the cabin even more with new

design themes.

Every DB11 has a comfortable interior that can be customised with imaginative colours and exotic materials. Leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front seats, and

passive entry are standard on all models. The front seats are ventilated and the steering wheel is heated.

The infotainment system, which is derived from Mercedes-Benz, features easy-to-use controls and appealing menus. The conventional rotary controller or the optional touchpad on the

centre console are used to select items on the 8.BMW.nch screen. Aston also included a Wi-Fi hotspot in every DB11, in addition to a 400-watt audio system and SiriusXM satellite radio.

The Aston Martin comes standard with a 360-degree camera system, and buyers looking for additional driver-assistance features can opt for blind-spot monitoring and parking- assistance software.

BMW M8

Two crores and seventeen lakhs

14,17,00,000 - 2,17,00,000 = 12,00,00,000

A marvel by BMW

The normal 8-series can have up to 523 horsepower, while the new M8 delivers 600 horsepower from a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8 or 617 horsepower in the M8 Competition.

The BMW M8 accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds and completes the quarter-mile in 10.7 seconds at 129 mph. The M8 accelerates to 60 mph faster than a Ferrari 488 Pista with

710 horsepower.

Turn off all of the assists, set all of the powertrain and chassis settings to their most extreme settings, then decrease the power to the front axle to really feel the M8 contract around

you. The car will drift through corners and make you realise why you spent so much on a BMW.

When you press the M Mode button, the M8’s dials take on a new appearance. In both the instrument pack and the HUD, this emphasises the revs and gear. You can also look at g-

meters, oil temperatures, and other things. You can enter ‘track’ by holding down the M Mode button for a long time, which also disables the auto-braking and auto-steering functions.

The M8’s trim materials are quite beautiful. Every surface that isn’t metal, glass, or carbonfibre is wrapped in decoratively sewn glove-soft leather. On the highway, the seats do a good job

of cradling you, but they clamp you down in turns.

Voice activation is also available in the M8, and there are more methods to handle some of BMW’s iDrive functions than we can imagine.

Lamborghini Urus

Three crores and forty eight lakhs

12,00,00,000 - 3,48,00,000 = 8,52,00,000

An SUV for a driving enthusiast.

The Lamborghini Urus is radical in practically every manner, as one would expect from a famed supercar manufacturer creating an SUV. It gets sharp character lines and a power

motor to complete the package of this astonishing SUV.

This car has black trim on the roof, rear diffuser, and spoiler, as well as contrasting 23-inch wheels. It is the finest value in the Italian company’s range because it can transport more than

two passengers and a large amount of luggage.

The Urus is powered by a twin-turbo V-8 that makes a stout 641 horsepower, burbles deeply when idling, and absolutely howls under full throttle. On pressing full throttle the car hurls

you back in the driver’s seat as it takes off like no other SUV on this planet.

With all that power, permanent all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission work together to provide incredible acceleration. The Urus accelerates from 0 to 100

kilometres per hour in 3.1 seconds and rips through the quarter-mile in 11.3 seconds at nearly 200 kilometres per hour.

Inside, passengers will find a stunning cabin that is reminiscent of a Lambo. The start button is hidden under a crimson flip cover, and the shifter resembles the throttle of a jet fighter. This car packs the punch under the hood and you can feel that as soon as you sit inside. The interiors feel purposeful and sturdy. The Urus was designed to be a beast and it does its job well.

Faux-suede and carbon-fiber trim abound, while the infotainment system and reconfigurable

instruments are straight out of an Audi. The back seat offers plenty of legroom and can accommodate two to three passengers depending on the seating layout.

Mercedes Benz G-Class G63 AMG 4MATIC

Two crores and forty five lakhs

8,52,00,000 - 2,45,00,000 = 6,07,00,000

Extraordinary performance both on and off the road.

The Mercedes-AMG G63 2021 is all about making things look easy, whether it’s tearing down the highway at triple-digit speeds or crawling over pebbles at single-digit speeds.

The Mercedes-AMG G63 has 20-inch wheels, adaptive suspension damping, a front brush guard, leather upholstery, heated front and back seats, and three-zone temperature control as standard equipment. A wireless smartphone charging station is also included as standard equipment on Mercedes’ beefed-up G-class variant.

The twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine in the 2021 Mercedes-AMG G63 produces 577 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. All of that power is sent to the all-wheel-drive system

via a nine-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters located on the steering wheel.

The approximately 5800-pound G63 accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 3.9 seconds. Don’t be fooled by the impressive performance numbers; the G63 can tow up to 6500 pounds when properly outfitted.

If you’ve ever sat in an older G-class, the cabin will feel familiar, but it’s now a totally modern environment, with a 12.0-inch digital instrument panel, high-quality materials, and amenities

like cupholders and a surround-view camera system.

The G63 boasts a standard 12.0-inch entertainment system with navigation and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration. Wi-Fi and a back entertainment system with two 10.0-inch touchscreens, each with its own USB, auxiliary, and HDMI ports, are available as options.

BMW X7

One crore and seventy three lakhs

6,07,00,000 - 1,73,00,000 = 4,34,00,000

A sensible SUV offering immense road presence.

The X7 claims to be more enjoyable to drive and offers a more appealing range of engine options. This is the new BMW flagship you should choose, thanks to a fantastic automatic

transmission and standard all-wheel drive.

The X7 xDrive40i features a 335-hp turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine, while the M50i has a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V-8 with 523 horsepower. The V-8 in the Alpina XB7 has been

modified to produce 612 horsepower.

The X7’s luxurious inside is well-appointed, tech-packed, and spacious, drawing inspiration from the smaller BMW X5 SUV and the luxury 7-series. Plenty of luxury features can be found

inside as well, including heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a power-adjustable steering wheel, and ambient interior lighting.

A fully digital gauge cluster and a huge 12.3-inch touchscreen that dominates the dashboard are standard on every X7. Its infotainment system may also be controlled through gesture

controls and a huge rotary knob on the centre console.

Every model is equipped with a 10-speaker audio system, Apple CarPlay, GPS, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. Wireless charging and a more powerful Harman/Kardon stereo are available as

options.

Land Rover Range Rover

Four crores and thirty eight lakhs

4,34,00,000 - 4,38,00,000 = XXXXXXXX

LA proper off roader with the rear seat comfort of a Rolls. This cars goes over budget by 4 lakhs so we can hope for a discount but totally go for it. This humungous SUV will dwarf

everything in it’s way and be your go to car.

The Range Rover, now in its 50th year, continues to impress with its all-terrain prowess while maintaining the level of luxury that its customers have come to expect.

The cabin is oozing with luxury. The materials and trim are stunning. Second-row passengers have plenty of legroom, especially in long-wheelbase models, this car is huge, inside out and that gives you tons of space to stretch your legs and enjoy the comfortable ride.

The land rover has a 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 that makes 518/557 hp and 700Nm of Torque and makes this car fly from 0-100 in 4.3 seconds, putting it in sports car territory.

luxurious but also a perfect mix of capable and sporty.

The new InControl Pro Duo infotainment system features two touchscreens that take up valuable dashboard real estate. The graphics are crisp and clean, and it performs admirably;

there’s even a set of context-sensitive tactile controls on the lower screen that allow you to do things without taking your eyes off the road.

The split tailgate is still present, with the power-folding bottom lip serving as a picnic bench. What’s good is that you get a flat floor with a full-size spare wheel underneath! A full- size spare is ideal, but good luck changing a 21-inch SUV wheel with your chauffeur.

Next month, chosen by someone new, with 50 crores to burn, what will they buy ?

Rule : Always, go for the top end and of course, burn it all
