Krishan Kumar Kunnath or KK was one of the greatest Indian playback pop singers. KK began his three-decade-long musical career singing advertising jingles.
Then he started his career as a playback singer for a Malayalam movie titled "Nakshathrakkannulla Rajakumaran Avanundoru Rajakumari" in 2001. His musical career arose when he participated in a singing contest organized by "All India Radio".
His ability to capture the deepest, happiest and most vulnerable moments through his music made him the voice of a generation. The songs became an anthem, hummed at hundreds of parties, and performed at college festivals.
His superhit Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe from Dil Chahta Hai further solidified this image. Unfortunately, he died this year due to a heart attack but his mesmerizing songs will keep his legacy alive forever
