Luxury Designer of India HOUSE OF MASABA by MASABA GUPTA
   Masaba Gupta, the daughter of Indian actress Neena Gupta and West Indies cricketer Viv Richards was born in 1989. She grew up in Mumbai. The design aesthetic of Gupta has been described as a mix of contemporary and traditional, with modernity taking the lead.
She specializes in ethnic wear for women and uses silk, chiffon, cotton and tops it up with rich embroidered work. She is known for her unique prints, feminine drapes, and silhouettes.
In 2017, she was tasked with representing India in an exhibit showcasing re-designs of Levi's iconic trucker jacket. She chose to use her signature cow motif. The exhibit also featured a redesign by Justin Timberlake and other celebrities. In 2018, she launched a hijab-saree line aimed at Muslim women who desire to dress in Indian haute couture.
