The head of Medusa, a Greek legendary figure, is seen in the Versace emblem. The logo was inspired by the floor of the ruins in the Reggio Calabria area where the Versace siblings used to play as children. Gianni Versace chose Medusa as the logo because she made people fall in love with her and there was no turning back. He believed that his label would have the same effect on people, particularly those who wore his clothes and shoes. This brand is known for its one-of-a-kind designs that feature vibrant colours and symbolic flashy motifs in a stylish manner. Versace went from a modest boutique in Milan to a worldwide recognised brand worth $800 million in less than a decade. This is not just a work of art, but also something that every designer wishes for and admires.
This month we've chosen the Versace Greca Chain Midi Dress as our dress of the month. The dress has a flattering design. This collared midi skirt dress is crafted from silk. The midi dress features the chain print and is cinched with a calf leather Greca belt. The golden chain prints complement the jet black colour.
