Volkswagen Virtus
The new Virtus, the newest member of the Volkswagen family
and the newest entrant in the premium midsize sedan sector,
exemplifies German built excellence, is striking, and will renew
the segment while reigniting buyers' enthusiasm for sedans.
The Volkswagen Virtus is the second product to be created as
part of the India 2.0 project, and it is based on the MQB AO IN
platform with up to 95% localization. Because of the platform's
versatility, the New Virtus is the segment's longest car (4,561
mm), with enough of cabin and boot capacity (521 litres) for
customers. Its large shape allows it to encapsulate a dynamic
and expressive design language while displaying the confidence
of a market leader.
The New Virtus will be offered with a 1.5l TSI EVO engine with
Active Cylinder Technology (ACT) and a 1.01 TSI engine with
Idle Start/Stop, as well as a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic
torque converter, or 7-speed DSG transmission.
