 Concept of the month -
Volkswagen W12
Volkswagen Passenger Cars produced a line of concept vehicles known as the Volkswagen W12 in 1997. Games like Gran Turismo, Asphalt 8, Asphalt 9, Project Gotham Racing 3, GTI Racing, World Racing 2, and the Test Drive series have featured the vehicles. As a result, even though this project was never completed, you might have seen this car in a video game.

The 1997 W12 Syncro was an all-wheel-drive vehicle that functioned as a concept and testing ground for the W-shaped engine (much like Mercedes' C111 acted as an engineering mule). The W12 essentially signalled Volkswagen's plans to develop a number of fanciful engines.
VW unveiled the W12 Roadster, a topless W12 concept, a year later. The 5.6-liter engine that powered the first concept's drop- top model had the same 414 horsepower. However, VW didn't fully realise the performance potential of the W12 concept until almost three years later.

The quad-turbocharged W16 found in the Bugatti Veyron may have marked the peak of Volkswagen's commitment to the W engine, but the W12 didn't go unnoticed, earning prominent spots in the VW Phaeton and Touareg as well as the Audi A8 and Bentley Continental.

 FROM THE EDITOR
Did cars become less interesting after 90’s ? We believe so.

90s were simpler, people loved manual cars and had more mechanical bits in the car than gimmicky electronics. The cars felt fast, unsafe but fast and the pleasure of driving was absolutely unmatched. In fact, only few modern cars can compete with the gems that 90s gave us. Memories, wallpapers and nostalgia, let us take you to the 90s and make you fall in love with cars again.
