5 Best Rifles AK-47
The 7.6239mm assault rifle known as the AK-47, sometimes referred to as the Kalashnikov, was created in the Soviet Union by Mikhail Kalashnikov around WWII. It is the first in the Kalashnikov rifle (or "AK") series of weapons. It was completed in the year indicated by the number 47. The muzzle velocity of the 7.6239mm round fired by the AK is 715 m/s (2,350 ft/s).
The projectile weighs 7.9 g, while the cartridge weighs 16.3 g (0.6 oz) (122 gr). The 7.6239mm M43 projectile has an uncommon propensity to remain whole even after making contact with bone, and it typically does not fragment when striking an opponent.
The 7.62×39mm round produces significant wounding in cases where the bullet tumbles (yaws) in tissue, but produces relatively minor wounds in cases where the bullet exits before beginning to yaw. In the absence of yaw, the M43 round can pencil through tissue with relatively little injury.
